It is sad that so little has been dedicated to this wonderful lady and therapist. I met Gerda a couple of decades ago and she left a permanent impression. She stripped me completely, (of) all my insecurities and my embarrassment. She delicately opened me up to new experiences, hitherto unknown and unentertained. Many times I felt overwhelmed and needed release, she coaxed me to hold on a little longer and persevere, before I completely lost control. She was there to take care of me and always respected my dignity. Gerda made me always aware of my vulnerability, yet nurtured me in the state she consensually reduced me to. You will be greatly missed, Gerda. I will never forget your graciousness and how liberated your therapy made me feel in Folkstone.
