Arthur PaulBROOKESOn 15th January 2021, peacefully after a long illness, bravely borne, Paul aged 90 years and of Eccles. A long standing and respected member of the Freemasons. Dearly beloved husband of the late Doreen, much loved dad of Barbara and Pamela, dear father-in-law of Christopher and Nicholas, a devoted grandad of Mille, Harry, Lisa and John, and great-grandad of James and Jack. The funeral service will take place at Eccles Congregational Church on Tuesday 2nd February at 12.30pm followed by committal at Peel Green Crematorium. Due to current restrictions, attendance at the service will be by invitation only. Donations are being received in lieu of flowers for the benefit of the Kidney Foundation. People who didn't know you knew you as Arthur, friends knew you as Paul to me even though you wasn't my Grandad thats the name I knew you by. You have always been a very important person in our lives and there will not be a single day that goes by that we won't miss you
