Gertrude Maureen (Maureen)BROOMMaureen Passed away peacefully on Saturday 22nd May 2021 at Neath Port Talbot Hospital aged 85 years. Maureen of New Street, Tonna originally from Cadoxton, Neath. Beloved wife of Allen, loving mother of Michael, Jayne and Clive, caring mother-in-law of Elizabeth, Malcolm and Cerys, greatly loved grandmother of James, Patrick, Andrew, Thomas, Jake, Lois, Kyle and Katie, great-grandmother of Franklyn. Maureen will be greatly missed by all her loving family and friends. Due to current restrictions a private family funeral will be held at Margam Crematorium on Wednesday 16th June. The funeral cortege will be leaving Neath Funeral Home, Cadoxton at 1:10pm, travelling through Cadoxton to Tonna Hospital, along Heol Y Glo and Dany y Bryn before New Street, Tonna for those wishing to pay their respects. No flowers by request, however donations in memory of Maureen gratefully received for Cancer Research UK c/o Les Davies Independent Funeral Directors, Neath Funeral Home, Main Road, Cadoxton, Neath, SA10 8AP.
