Service at Grimsby Crematorium on Monday April 16th at 1.40pm. Family flowers only please, but if desired, donations may be sent for "Diabetes UK" Sterling House, 22 St. Cuthberts Way, Darlington, DL1 1GB.

It is now 4 years since we lost you, however I always feel that you are standing by my side watching over me. I miss you so much as not only did I lose my dad when you left us but also my role model and my best friend. i just hope that you are proud of the man that I have become in your footsteps and of the achievements that \i have made.

Today I'm remembering the happiness that came after your son proposed 3 years ago. We didn't yet know the sadness that was to follow but in my heart I know that you knew he'd found 'the one' and was going to be ok. I think of you often, sorry that I didn't get to know you better but glad that I had the chance to meet you. You'd be so proud of the amazing man that my husband is today. xxx
