Doreen LawrenceCARNEYCARNEY Doreen Lawrence, Catherine, Mandy and families would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming messages of sympathy received and to those who helped make `Our Mam's' funeral a celebration of her life by attending and wearing bright colours. Thank you to Barthram Funeral Directors for their compassion and good humour, to Canon David Lickess for conducting a perfect ceremony and to the wonderful nursing staff of the Women's Health Unit at the Friarage Hospital for their care of Doreen and the support given to Catherine and Mandy during a very difficult time. A collection is still open for the W.H.U. and any further donations may be sent to Mandy Fionda at 11, Hundale, Hutton Rudby, Yarm, TS15 0DR.
