I have returned here on behalf of Mo and me to say how grateful we are to those that sent us such lovely cards, there were very much appreciated. Thank you for the compliments, other kind words and nice thoughts with regard to my Mar. We also much appreciated the nice thoughts and kind words aimed at us and in particular aunt Sylvia's intention to include us in her prayers. That one was quite overwhelming! thank you. It means a lot to us to have the support of both the Colling and Flint family and we thank you all very much. This experience has served to reinforce my faith in the divine power in the universe. The invitations for the next time we are in the northeast have been duly noted.
Finally, we hope you are all safe and well. We are both well now, however, we have not been without trauma. Mo was totally debilitated for seven days in the grip of the virus whilst the resident of the care home we suspect she contracted if from was in hospital on a ventilator. Thankfully, my fourteen days of isolation passed without consequence. The care home resident also survived and Mo is back to work caring for her, but sadly, a close friend of ours, an NHS nurse who we had come to know over the years for attending to Mo's mother's dementia and comorbidities did not! She was only 29 and left behind a fiance and two very young children, very sad indeed.
We would like to leave on a positive note, so thanks again.
RITP Mar, eternal love from Rob & Mo xxx
