I asked you once, what it was like grow older and to no longer be as sporty as you once were when young.

You told me that you had been the same age in your mind your entire life.

You said the voice inside of your head had never aged, never matured, you just knew more facts and had more life experiences. You had always just been the same inner child, (a book you admired). You had always wondered when you would feel more grown up, behave differently and feel wiser. You said the person inside never got tired. Never aged. Never changed.
That means our spirits are eternal and our souls are forever.
Your earthy clay may of gone now dad, but your spirit will always be my forever 💔

If I could write a story of the greatest
Creation to behold,
It would be the making of you, Gods masterpiece, that simply broke the ‘father’ mould,
It’s a story about Michael Coomber whose true worth you didn’t know,
A truly unique much loved father, my dad my friend, my hero.

If only I realized tomorrow would awaken without your smile,
That words could be left unspoken,
I had prayed we had a while,
Some fathers have a heart of purest gold,
But yours was a heart filled with rainbow colours,
with every passing night I’ve wished away,
I seem to miss you a little louder than yesterday,
Ive tried to write a billion words to say,
just how much I love and miss you every single day,
I will try to remember all you taught me,
I'm really hurting, but shan’t be sad,
because I know you will send me down the gift of strength,
To know you will ALWAYS be my perfectly, imperfect perfect Dad.
