JohnCOUSERIt is with deep sadness that we announce that John passed away peacefully at home in Loughborough on the 6th March 2021 aged 90. John was a dearly loved and cherished husband of the late Joan, much loved dad, grandad, great grandad, brother, brother in law and Uncle and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Due to the Covid restrictions a private celebration of John's life will take place at Loughborough Crematorium on 22nd March at 2pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Rainbows Hospice can be made on the day or online at www.funeral-notices.co.uk The service will be webcast for those unable to attend, for more information contact Kriss Morrison Cooper Independent Funeral Director on 01509 210843

I spent many hours in John’s flat at Waterside Court. I did his bedtime call when it was at 11pm, and for a couple of months I did his morning call at 7am as well, at the end of my night shift. We had some great chats.

So many happy memories of the younger years.' Your wise words and life lessons remain with me from being a teenager. You had wonderful way about you.
I was very privileged to witness the immense love you and Joan shared. The laughter, the warmth, and the way you would slip your hand into hers.
I hope you are reunited with Joan, I really do.
