Uncle David was so much a part of happy family holidays in Dumfries, contributing to the fun of our games and excursions. We were all so fond of him and we’ll remember him with great affection.

So sorry that you’ve passed David. I’ve such fond memories of you visiting from when I was growing up and you were always interested and cared about us even thought we didn’t see each other much. I know you’ll be greatly missed. you were always so fun, kind and gentle. David (grand nephew)
