I had the absolute honour of meeting Mr Crowther back in January and such a lovelier man you couldn’t meet, even though he was ill then he always had a smile on his face and supported his family. I’m devastated for all of you but his memories will live on in your hearts forever, take care. Love from Dublin

I am sorry to hear that Charles passed away on the 26th June. In 1964 I started employment with G & G H Crowther in Trinity Street as shorthand typist to Richard (his father) and Bryan (his grandfather) when Charles would be around 9 years of age. This family business provided a very happy and stable environment and both Charles and his brother Anthony would pop in to see their dad from time to time. I have such fond memories of my time there and only left to start a family in 1972. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.
