I hope you were looking down when your grandson Sam and Evie got married. It was a fantastic 4 days at sugar loaf barn in Abergavenny. It did pour with rain in typical welsh style. Thunder and lightening as they said there I do’s, looking out over the beautiful mountain. A day when I had a lot of mixed emotions, an overwhelming sense of pride at the man Sam has become and the loss because you couldn’t share their day . One down one to go. Love always Lorraine

Leo is growing so fast. He is in 3/4 clothes already and he’s only 2 yrs and 8 months. He loves his food just like you. Manages to get a second dinner if he can when I have him to stay. He started nursery in September and loves to paint and sends home pics he has done. He loves dinosaurs and planes. We told him grandad is in the sky with the planes so when he hears or sees a plane he shouts out “Grandad in the sky”. Xx

Year 3 without you. September was not a good month for us. I wasn’t expecting to be facing life as a widow at 52. Only comfort is that I know you are together dancing to Tina Turner at the bar with a pint in front of you. Love always, Lorraine
