Dr AlanDAVIESDAVIES Dr. David Alan (former Principal of Swansea Institute of Higher Education) Sadly on Friday, 21st January, 2011, at Morriston Hospital. Alan, beloved husband of the late Marlene, dearly loved father to Ian, Christine, Karen and Paul and father-in-law to Karen and Martin, devoted Grandad to Christopher, Nicholas, Natalie, Jonathan, Amanda, Alex, Kathryn, Sharon and Maikel and great grandchildren Aidan, Ashley and Josh. Alan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his friends and colleagues. Funeral service Friday, 4th February, 11.30 a.m. at Swansea Crematorium. No flowers by request, but donations in lieu, if desired, to Ty Olwen, may be sent (cheques only please) c/o William Pressdee Funeral Director, 1-2, Stanley Street, Mumbles, Swansea, SA3 4NE.
