RodDAWBERPassed away peacefully on Thursday 21st October 2021, aged 83 years. Beloved husband of Maggie, a dearly loved father of Emma, Sarah, Rachel, Ruth, Anna and John, in-laws Stuart, Tim, Dan and Angela, a much loved grandad of Oscar, Thomas, Katie, Sam and Joseph. Funeral Service to be held, at All Saints Church, Driffield, on Monday 15th November at 12.30pm. No flowers by request please, donations much appreciated for St Mary's Church, Beverley. Dr Rodney Dawber was a wonderful man, inspirational teacher and great Consultant Dermatologist.
Kind and generous I remember fondly a wonderful dinner he hosted at the Sydney Opera House Bennelong restaurant and being driven by him to the RSM meetings London and another trip to Leeds in his claret coloured XJS coupe.
Oxford Dermatology Department, Churchill Hospital in the 1990s was a special place for learning and he was one of the "Greats".
It was a privilege to be taught by him. Will miss him.
My sincere condolences.
