So terribly saddened to hear of the death of Martyn. We were very good friends from early childhood, through to Mart leaving school at fifteen. He was a lovely character, and we had many great times and escapades together. Although we lost contact over fifty years ago,
I still remember him with immense fondness and respect.
I send my heartfelt condolences to his family.
Rest in peace old friend.

Missing you already buddy, we had such amazing times when we came to see you and the family in Adelaide. Never to be forgotten. I loved all the phone calls which always went on for an hour or so and where am I going to get all my jokes from now? The last phone call included the Pharmacy social distancing sketch and I’m still laughing! If I know Marty, he wouldn’t want us to grieve but keep his memory alive and keep smiling.
He once said “You can take the boy out of England but you can’t take England out of the boy”. He was so proud of his heritage but prouder still of his Australian family.
Rest in peace, till we meet again.
Andy and Caroline.
