Peter GeorgeDIXON (TSSF)TSSF It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Peter George Dixon from the devastating effects of Covid-19. He passed away surrounded by his family in the early hours of 7th November 2021. He was the beloved husband of Julia Dixon, devoted father to Victoria, Suzannah, Eleanor and Grace, and proud Grandfather to Eliza, Nancy and River. The funeral will take place at 11am on Thursday 2nd December 2021 at St Mary the Virgin Parish Church, Uttoxeter. Family and friends are welcome to join us for the service, from which the family will depart to Uttoxeter Cemetery for the burial. The family request that those who join them at the funeral take a lateral flow test beforehand. Mourners are also encouraged to wear masks throughout the service. There will be a wake to follow by invitation for close family and friends. The family will be hosting a celebration of Peter's life at a later date in 2022.

I feel privileged and blessed to have known Peter through our prayer group on Tuesday evenings. I will treasure fond memories of Peter and the way he was faithful to a spiritual way of life, following the path God had set before him. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
