I am so sorry to learn of Anne's death; she has been a good friend since we first met at Bury Grammar School. Whilst we have not seen much of each other since we left in 1959, she has been in regular contact at Christmas. It was a delight to meet her at the annual Old Girls Association reunion lunches. She will be sadly missed by her family and all her firends. Thankfully we all have happy memories to keep her alive in our hearts

Anne was a good friend when we were at Bury Grammar School in the 1950's. We enjoyed some great times together. I remember particularly the visits to the Lake District and Stratford, where Anne took us rowing on the River Avon. Another memory is going to watch a Rochdale Hornets rugby match with Anne and her father. We have always kept in touch and we used to meet annually at the BGS Old Girls lunch. I shall miss her, but have a lot of happy memories.
