Shared a flat in London with Mick and my ex husband Lyn Chattington-many years ago —-remember many late jamming sessions with him and other talented musicians. He was a great guy and a good friend -many condolences to his family -Yvonne Chattington

Just found out about Mick's death and am feeling so sad. I was his partner for 7 years before he met Pat. I have lovely memories of him and still have some old pics. I'm so glad they found lasting happiness and send condolences to her and the boys. You must all be devasted and my heart goes out to you.

My family and I regularly watched Mick perform with McCalla over many years at our local venue and sometimes further afield. As well as being a very talented guitarist he was a friendly and likeable man, we will remember him for his smile, he was always smiling and it was a pleasure to watch him play. We have very fond memories of so many wonderful evenings spent enjoying McCalla's music and their company, they brought much happiness into our lives. We are so sorry to hear of his passing and send our love to Family and Friends, a very sad loss for you all.
Carol Turnham and Family.

Unfortunately I never had to opportunity to get to know Mick well, but he struck me as a charming and funny man, to say nothing of his virtuosity on the guitar. R.I.P.
