MarianEARLS ((Formerly Latham, Nee Nott))(Formerly Latham, Nee Nott) Passed away on November 2nd 2021 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Marian aged 87 years of Leek, beloved wife of the late Ralph, dearly loved mum of Janice and the late Deborah and David, a dear mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral Tuesday November 23rd, Service and Cremation at Carmountside Crematorium at 10.30am. Will relatives and friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to St Pauls Luncheon Club, Leek or The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Blurton. Inquiries to S. Sigley & Sons, Funeral Directors, Leek, Tel. 01538 382048.

I’m following the path God laid for me
I took His hand when I heard Him call
I turned my back and left it all
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that piece at the close of the day
If my parting has left a void

Mum when I think of you
I think of the rainbow after the rain
I think of laughter and being entertained
I think of sunshine on a cloudy day
I think of the encouragement and things you would say
I think of your smiles as you were never blue
I think of all the help you gave.
So on this day as I think of you
I just want to say I appreciated you
and thank you for being my mum!
