Iris DoreenEDWARDS(nee Parr) Peacefully, on Wednesday, Jan 11, 2012, with her nieces at her side, Iris, aged 90, formerly of Tonyrefail; devoted wife of the late Granville, beloved sister of the late Bob, Stan, Violet, Reg, Margaret, Miriam, Ron and Albert, cherished aunt of her nieces and nephews and a wonderful friend to many. The last of her generation, and the end of an era. Her kindness touched so many lives. Funeral service on Thursday, Jan 26 at Garth Olwg Residential Home, Church Village at 10.30am, followed by burial at Trane Cemetery, Tonyrefail at 11.30am. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, please for Garth Olwg Residential Home c/o W H Preene & Son, Mwyndy, Pontyclun. Tel. 01443 223368.
