James JohnEDWARDSApril 1, 2009 Our lovely Son James. (Our hearts are broken having to write to you this way from the day you were born it was the most precious moment in our lives. On that day you turned a light on for us, now that light has gone out, but we will always have our memories of your cheeky but nice little ways, you touched the hearts of everyone you met. As we sit here we remember the lovely holidays from Butlins to the Isle of Man, Canada and America, you always said how lucky we were to travel the way we did, you even made hearts melt in Canada, our cousins Debbie and John wanted us to leave you there so they could have you as their Son but Dad and I laughed and said no way, we are so glad you were the type of Son who would sit and talk with us, we always shared the good things as well as the bad. You know how proud we were of you Son and we always told you so, not many days went by without us saying we loved each other if only by phone. On the days you came to visit you would always kiss us goodbye, "see you next time" and "phone you tomorrow" and rub your unshaven face against ours. You would always make us laugh, you were the Son any Mum and Dad would love to have, but you were our Son and we loved you more than life, we feel that we are the luckiest parents that were ever blessed to have a Son as special as you, we brought you up to know right from wrong and to stand up for your beliefs, you did this and more. You showed respect to all, a kind, caring man you gave us 2 beautiful grandchildren Ben and Lola May, you will live on through them, they will make you and Lisa as proud of them as we are of you. Between us our 2 families will take good care of Ben, Lola and Lisa as you would have wanted us to, but just for now Son your safe in the arms of Grandad, he will keep you in his care till Mum and Dad get there. Love you forever.) - Your loving Mum and Dad. (See ya, love ya xx.)
