Anthony BernardELKINGTONAnthony (Tony) Bernard Elkington passed away peacefully on May 21st, 2021, aged 78. Tony was raised in Heighington, Lincolnshire by parents Alfred and Constance Elkington. Tony had a full life and career, beginning as an apprentice at engineering firm Ruston Bucyrus in Lincoln, briefly turning to politics becoming an integral election agent in the successful re-election campaign to Lord Dick Taverne in a local political race, before eventually moving into the area of computer software process improvement, serving as the founding director of European Software Process Improvement (ESPI) Foundation for 15 years, before he retired. An avid sailor, he traveled and sailed the world and in later life he became a model airplane enthusiast. We were very sad to hear of Tony's death.
Happy memories remain of many family events he was part of, both at home and abroad...
Christmas Day open house, camping trips, Channel crossings, Bonfire Nights, boat escapades and dining in nights at number 10.
Rest in Peace
Hilary and Paul Watson
