Catherine MaryEVANSPeacefully on All Saints Day, Sunday 1st November 2020, Catherine (Cathy) Evans of Sketty (formerly London and Littlehampton), devoted Wife of the late Derwyn, loving Mother, and Mother in law, of Daniel, Oliver, Elissa and Meriel, and Alison and Aslan. Adored Grandma to Liam, Gemma, Marty, Elina, Mila and Alan. Dear Sister to Vicky, Robert and the late William. Much-loved Auntie and Cousin to many. Ophthalmic State Registered Nurse - Moorfields, Westminster, Mount Pleasant & Singleton Hospitals; Bishop Vaughan RC School; Pen y Bryn & Morris House Nursing Homes. Co-founder of Swansea University Student Union Creche and active parishioner, and charity fundraiser (Swansea West Third World Group), of St Joachim and St Anne Roman Catholic Church (and previously St Benedict), Swansea. Cathy is greatly missed by all who knew her. "Peace Perfect Peace" Prayer Vigil on Thursday 19th November at 4:30pm St. Joachim and St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Dunvant Private Requiem Mass will be held on Friday 20th November (invitation only due to COVID restrictions), followed by a Private Woodland burial in Oystermouth. No flowers please. Donations, if so desired, in memory of Cathy, can be made directly to: The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association , The PSP Association, CAFOD.
