I had the privilege to help look after Ian for the whole of my career in General Practice. I can remember nobody who faced adversity which such humour and fortitude as he did. I am sorry that I was not able to say goodbye to him in a more meaningful way. May he rest in peace now. He is in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear the sad news.
Ian has had nearly 50 years being wheelchair bound but has enjoyed the Manchester United facilities over the years. He was a founder member of MUDSA - Manchester United Disabled Supporters Association - and a loyal supporter. Rest in Peace Ian. You will be sadly missed.
