EileenFEATHERSTONE ((nee Preston))(nee Preston) Sadly passed away on 18th September 2021 aged 71 years. Beloved wife of Leonard, loving mother of Megan, Dominic and in-laws Adrian and Sarah, much loved and respected grandma of Isabella, Beatrice, Eva and Leo. Funeral service to be held on Monday 4th October at All Saints Church North Cave at 12pm. Family flowers only pease however donations may be left at the service for the Lewy Body Society. Eileen will be missed by many friends. Not just the human kind. She was a caring friend of all creatures great and small. The mother duck who brought her ducklings to safety from across the busy road. The swifts who came to nest and rear their chicks. And the many cats she cared for. Among these was my own cat "Leo" who needed medication every 8 hours. Just like Michele's cat mentioned on this page Eileen found room for Leo to give us a break.

We did not know Eileen for very long or see her very often but she was a true friend to us . The second time she looked after our cat he passed away and she buried him in her garden. Our new kitten was looked after like a member of the family and she always had time for a catch up and exchange family news. 13 years later she found room for Lily when our dad passed away and we needed a break. She was so kind and caring. Love to the family. Xx
