JamesFINNIEFINNIE My dad, James Cunningham Finnie, who fell asleep on 22nd June, 2008, in his 90th year and my mum, Helen (nee Storrie), who joined him on 8th December, 2008, aged 92 years. Dad, a year has passed since that fateful day When you closed your eyes and went away. They say time is a great healer and the pain will ease But for me losing you was too much to bear. As I visit your grave and cry as I leave you there, I miss your voice and the good times we shared. I know I was so lucky to have you so long Dad, You left me with so many happy memories That no one can take away. I know you are with me everyday in everything I do, I am much stronger now to carry on because of you. There is only one thing left for me to say, I think of you each passing day. I miss you "J". Your loving daughter Maryanne.
