OUR BROTHER - Football and Family has always been your passion and greatest loves. I remember the day well 11th April 1970,my 21st birthday party. Little did we know this party, that had been planned for some months, would clash with the FA Cup final. It was Leeds V Chelsea at 3pm but the party was 5pm so we thought it would be fine. The men, including my Nigel, all invaded mum and dad's for the match and the ladies all went up to Goldenhill Hall to setup the party. Well 5pm came and went and still no sign of any men. We sent a scout back to the house and found all the men still there. The match was at 2-2 and no one was moving until that final whistle went - it was the first match since 1912 requiring a replay! When the whistle finally came, a few long faces arrived at the hall with no win but a few drinks later - everyone had a great time! It is one of the things we love - a good family party and you will be greatly missed. Well John, I am sure you will be up there now talking Stoke and football with some of the best like Sir Stanley Matthews & Jack Charlton. You will be forever loved and always missed - Brenda, Nigel and all the family x x x ❤

Uncle John,
What a shock it was to hear of your passing.
You never failed to bring a smile to a room when you were there and were always on hand to entertain.
You have left a big hole in a lot of lives with your crossing over, but the morals, memories and the legacy you have left behind is one that we shall all treasure.
Rest In Peace.
Your a guardian angel on the top table now.
Love You xxxxx
