Pete, I know you’ve gone to that big gig in the sky but your warm charm and wicked sense of humour will be sorely missed here on Earth. I will treasure those fun memories I have of you at uni and how you danced with my mum at my wedding.
I’m so pleased that we reconnected last year but so sad that will never have that face-to-face reunion. When I am able to make it up to Liverpool and see Dina we will remember you together. Our thoughts are with your family and especially your little one.

I only spent a brief period with you at Liverpool Uni Pete, but they are very fond memories. You always had great stories, great political chat and great enthusiasm for everything you did.

Peter today I'm just learning of your passing. You were a very good friend from nursery/primary school right through until we left high school. It was probably then in 1997 when we last spoke. My thoughts are with your family and friends. Rip mate 🙏

Pete, you took me under your wing at university and decided to give me a proper education in politics.
Thank you for the nights out, the impassioned debates, and the memories of Glastonbury.
