JamesGILLETTBeloved son of Alexandrea who was by his side when he peacefully passed away on Tuesday 16th February at The Tidings Care home in Minehead aged 40 years. James was a true fighter with a great spirit for life in spite of his disabilities. He did not let things get in the way of his sense of adventure. "Never think of the things you can't do, focus on the things you can do" His love of life, adventure, food, wit and humour never left him and he will be sorely missed by so many people. Heartfelt thanks to all the care home staff for all their kindness, care and dedication for looking after my son over the past few years and especially the past few weeks. They have made a very difficult time more bearable. Because of Covid-19 the service will be a private affair by invitation only, on Monday 15th March at 12.30pm. It will be streamed live online for everyone who cannot be there, to watch and be part of, please ask for details. We will be having a celebration of his life to be held when allowed at a future date. No flowers but donations in lieu of flowers to go towards a memorial bench to be placed at Pennard Court for residents where he spent ten happy years and a flowering cherry tree to be planted in Weston Village where he lived most of his life. Cheques payable to "Clarkson's Donations Account" and may be sent to:- Clarkson's Independent Funeral Directors 7 Windsor Place, Upper Bristol Road Bath BA1 3DF 01225 426822

James, I will never forget our teenage years, the times we used to call for you, the random adventures and things we all got up to. Always had so much fun coming to yours and hanging out in your room. I used to think how cool you were as you were allowed all your mates in. Loved our nights at the Weston, river and caddies. You were always so thoughtful, still remember coming back to yours after too many lager and limes at the Weston and we watched the titanic, you kept bringing me water. It’s a shame we drifted apart over the last few years but I will never forget all the fun times and what a big heart you had. Love to all your family xxx

Rest peacefully James. I’ve so many fun and happy memories with you. From playing music too loud until your mum came up shouting at us to dancing in the podium in Reflections. You were a true friend to me after I had Kyle, when many others disappeared. I will never forget that.
Love to Alex and family.
Sleep tight James.

We may have drifted apart over the years but I have such great memories of the fun and laughter you bought to so many. Nothing held you back and you lived life to the max, always happy and always putting a smile on our faces.
It only seems like yesterday I’d pick you up and off we’d go, meeting up with people who loved to be in your company.
Hope your partying hard up there!
Rest in peace James.

Dear James
You will always be one of the bestest friends I have ever had. I have so many fun and happy memories of you and I will always keep these in my heart. I’m sure you are dancing away up in heaven and when I get there I will dance with you again like our clubbing days!
