Robert Thomas (Bob)GLOVERPassed away peacefully with Clare by his side at The Old Lodge Nursing Home on 30th April after a long illness bravely fought, aged 70 years. Son of the late Brenda and Harry Glover. Brother of Ann, Jill and Paul. Beloved husband of the late Christine. Loving father of Clare and David. Father-in-law to Catherine and future father-in-law to Matthew. Much loved Grandpa 'Bobba' to Evelyn. Robert will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and ex-colleagues from The Derbyshire Constabulary where he served as PC 1408 for many years. A funeral service will take place at Trent Valley Crematorium on Monday 30th May at 1:30pm. Floral tributes welcomed or donations may be left in the collection box at the service and will be forwarded to the Old Lodge Nursing Home. Following the service, light refreshments will be served at The Coopers Arms, Weston on Trent, Derbyshire, DE72 2BJ All enquiries to The Co-operative Funeralcare, 5 Uttoxeter Road, Mickleover, Derby DE3 0DA Tel: 01332 517301
