David Thomas (Daddy Cool)GODWINLoving husband, father, brother and friend to all sadly passed on the 17th December after a short illness. He leaves behind many a legacy; from his 1970s Starsky and Hutch fashion endeavours to his weekly sales contributions in his beloved Beehive and let's not forget the many a roof he has worked on over the years with his team for family, friends, friends of friends and the Church. He was not a religious man so to speak but he did hold people close to his heart. His funeral service will be held on the 14th January 2pm at Duckingfield Crematorium. Those who would like to wave him off are welcome to do so at the rear of the Beehive Pub (Droylsden) at 1pm before the service and those who want to commemorate afterward are welcome for drinks at the Jam Works (Droylsden). The family ask for no flowers please but a donation to the Donkey Sanctuary as sometimes (like us all) he could be an ass but he loved them even more.

Dear Dad I can hardly believe that a whole year passed since I said goodbye. I think about you everyday and cry often praying that I will see you again when my time comes. I hope you know how loved you are by me, your family and friends. I'll look for you in starts tonight and know they shine bright because of you. X x x x x x x
