DannyGRAYPreviously of British Rail Canton Sheds and many pubs and clubs throughout Cardiff including Canton Conservative Club. Passed peacefully on 8th July at the UHW following an illness bravely fought. Beloved husband of the late Elaine. Amazing Dad of Jayne, Richard, Martyn & Sally. Father-in-law of Robert, Lisa, Julie & David. Adored Grampy of Carys, Gareth, Michael, Robert, Rhys, Ryan, Jack, Joe & Jordan and Great-Grampy to Rio, Theo, Harlah-Rae & Hudson. Beloved brother of Phyllis. There was a train waiting at the station A vacant seat for one We knew it was waiting for you We knew because you're gone. The fireman stoked the engine There was a head of steam This carriage was decided A railway man's final dream. As you took that single ticket Last train ride you ever had Our hearts travelled with you Our world, our hero our dad. He will be missed by all his family and friends. Due to current circumstances, the service will be private for immediate family only. The funeral cortege will be leaving the funeral home on Monday 20th July at 12:30pm travelling down Cowbridge Road East, turning left at The Corporation Public House and onto Llandaff Road for anybody who is wanting to pay their respects.
