IsabelHANNAHMiss Isabel Hannah died at Danesmoor Care Home, Haslingden, on Sunday, July 10, aged 90. She was a children’s librarian in Bury until June 1991. A supporter of many charities, Isabel was generous in giving her free time, being very active within the Bury circuit of the Methodist Church as a lay preacher for over 40 years, and also as a Sunday School teacher and pastoral visitor. Her love of working with children extended into the wider community through her support work with the local young children’s groups, and Brownies in Edenfield. Isabel is survived by her elder sister Muriel, aged 92, nephews Donald and Malcolm, and their children Jenna, Kay, Alex and Greg. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 26, at 12.30pm at Bolton Road Methodist Church, Bury, led by Pastor Richard Selby. Family flowers only; donations if desired to Christian Aid.
