Lee PeterHARKERLee, 39, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday 9th February 2021 in the arms of his wife, Louise. He fought hard for every moment he could and showed unwavering bravery, courage and strength to the end. Lee accomplished so much in life, he travelled the world, completed a tertiary qualification and had a successful career as a Construction Site Manager. His biggest achievement was his son, Jackson, his little cherub. Lee was a kind, gentle loving man. He loved Liverpool FC and playing football. He was a devoted husband to Louise, doting daddy to Jackson, adored son to Elaine and Paul, cherished brother to Craig, treasured grandson to nana Margaret and grandad Peter, admired son-in-law to Clare and Tom, much-loved brother-in-law to Sam, Owen and Ellen and darling uncle to Isaac, Cain, Tessa and Ameline. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends but will always be in their hearts and memories. A funeral service will be held at York Crematorium on Monday 22nd February at 9.00am. Donations in lieu of flowers are welcomed for St Leonard's Hospice at Home team who looked after Lee with loving kindness in his last weeks with us. Rest in peace Lee, we will always love you.

Lee was a fantastic bloke with a good sense of humour and was the best manager I've ever had. I'm glad I got to know him for the short time that I did. He was always supportive and understanding as a manager. From the time I spent with Lee I learnt that his family meant everything to him and he was a proud husband and father. I'm sorry to hear that he has passed away and my thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in peace Lee.

Sad to see a good man go. He was taken too soon and thoughts go out to his wife and little one Jackson. One of the best bosses I've had and was a pleasure to be around.

I simply cannot put into words how sorry I am that this has happened. Just two years ago I had a dinner with Louise and Lee plus the Kennedy/Murray clan in Dublin city centre, great food and company . Shared a great chat with Lee over a few beers about football and music. It was a great time and it will be engrained within my thoughts forever.Louise and little Jackson are rock solid and Lee was a total gentleman any time we met.

Slainte Mr.Harker
