Christine was a truly wonderful woman. She worked like a Trojan and helped to tirelessly and unconditionally support and care for my father Don Newton during his last years with us. Throughout this time, Christine was a beacon of kindness and such a terrific source of endless fun and laughter. She spent many hours helping Dad to enjoy every single minute of their time together - lots of competitive games, dominoes and sharing many proud conversations about Christine’s children and her wider family. No matter what personal difficulties and challenges Christine faced herself, she always put others around her first and made them feel special, loved and respected. These values were embedded in her DNA and will no doubt now grant her the eternal rest and peace that she so richly deserves.
