MickHINKSFormer Landlord of The Joiners, Woodville and The Barley Mow, Church Gresley. Passed away on 18th January 2022 aged 60 years. Much loved partner of Jenny, loving dad of Amy, Laura, Claire and Emma, and devoted grandad of Reggie, Micky and Billy. Dearly loved son of Betty & Cyril, cherished brother of Drew & Mandy and Kay, and a dearest uncle. He will be sadly missed by his many friends, 'regulars' and all who knew him. Funeral on Thursday 10th February, service 1.30 pm at Bretby Crematorium Carnarvon Chapel. Mourning dress optional. The funeral cortege will be passing The Joiners, Woodville at approximately 1.05 pm if you would like to see Mick take his final journey and pay your respects. Family flowers only, donations in Mick's memory can be made payable to 'Cancer Research UK' and sent c/o Murray's Funeral Directors, 1 Boardman Road, Swadlincote, DE11 9DL. Tel. 01283 819933. You were the best landlord at both the Barley and the Joiners,you had time for everyone and always made people feel welcome.You will be sadly missed but not forgotten.I thought of you as a true friend and I will not forget the nights in the Barley.
