Devoted husband to Sue, loving father to Emma and Ian, caring father in law to Tim and Aliya. Beloved brother to Janet and loving son to Doreen. The Service will be held on 27th January at 12.30pm at the Eden Valley Crematorium CA10 2AN. No flowers please, donations to Macmillan Cancer Support.

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Steve’s death - all the more so because it is only now, two years afterwards, that I have happened across this obituary.

Steve and I worked together for several years. We moved to Cumbria within months of each other. I liked and respected him. And I’m immensely sorry to hear of his passing.

I offer my condolences to his family.
