Evelyn ElaineHUGHESRetired Sister Singleton Maternity Unit Sadly on Thursday 24th October 2019 at her home, Elaine of Heol Crwys, Gorseinon. Beloved wife of Trevor, devoted mother of Mark and Nigel, a cherished mam and great mam and dear auntie to Michelle and family. Elaine passed away gracefully as she would have wanted "Beautifully" Funeral Tuesday 5th November, friends please meet for service at Llanelli Crematorium 3.00 p.m. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired in Elaine's memory to The Alzheimer's Society (cheques only please) will be gratefully accepted by Arthur Cambrey Funeral Directors, Alban Road, Llanelli, SA15 1ES, Tel: 01554 772829.

Two years today you left us and you left me my best mate for nearly 30 years before I got married never a cross word and always a laugh and a smile I miss you Mam with all my heart sorry is all I can say

Very upset and sad to hear of the loss of Elaine, my most favourite relative, who was always on my mind, and who I've always carried fond memories of, since a child. Remembered as a wonderful mother and wife, an outstanding worker and ward sister, who had terrific medical knowledge. Was looking for some years to find Elaine, to be back in touch, because I missed her so much, but didn't find anything due to the official name being Evelyn. Then my search was interrupted by my own bad health, until I've recently come across this terrible news. Feel very sorry for Trevor's, Nigel's and Mark's loss and grief, and hope you're all coping well. Would've loved to have had the chance to be reunited, now can only say a very sad, belated goodbye. Lots of love Julia.
