Kenneth C. S.HUIAugust 1950 - August 2021 Ken passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side at The Royal Derby Hospital on Monday 9 August 2021, aged 71 years. Devoted husband to the late Linda, who he is now reunited with. Much loved dad of Michelle, Katherine and Stella, Gung Gung to Sophie, Avery and Zara, brother to Paulianna and the late Lily and Alexander, father-in-law to Josh and Ross, brother-in-law, uncle and beloved son. A private farewell was held at Markeaton Crematorium on 26 August 2021. Ken - we truly hope that your soul rests in peace with Linda.

As a single parent I will always see you as an admirable character and an inspiration as you brought up your 3 wonderful daughters single handedly. They are a credit to you and you served a great purpose on this earth.

The world will miss your warm personality and your kindness ... you had a great, positive aura about you and will always remember passing you in your car on the way to Sixth Form whilst taking Stella to Woodlands and how you would always give us a lift to and from school in the rain.

You will be missed Ken.

We are extremely grateful for all the memories, kindness and support we have received from family, friends and colleagues. On behalf of our Dad, thank you to the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton especially MAU, ward 403, the Macmillan Unit and individuals involved in his care during these final weeks and for the thoughtful messages and donations received on this site also.

Dear Ken, I’m so sorry to hear of your passing, however it is comforting it know that you are now reunited with Linda after all of these years. You leave behind your 3 wonderful daughters, who are a gift to this world and I’m sure it is through your love, support and guidance they have become the women they are today. May you rest in peace
