Thinking of you mate

RJ Anecdote Part 1

During an early shift, I had been annoying Ross most part of the morning.

As he noted a statement from an elegant lady, I kept interrupting his professional smooth flow by repeatedly calling him on his terminal.

I crossed the thin blue line as usual causing RJ, and rightly so, to lose his rag and ultimately grabbing my terminal off me. He was a Man on Fire.

I went on a fake huff and then comes a call of a found cat. RJ by this time felt sorry for me, and to pacify the situation picks up the cat, resulting in his vest being covered in cat hair, that was his apology.

We looked at each other, reciprocating nods, as our friendship had withstood a catastrophe. Laughter followed as the shift neared a purrfect end.

My brother had a heart of gold.
