Howard GeorgeJOHNSONPeacefully on 13th October, 2020 at Abbey Court Care Home, Leek, Howard aged 84 years of Thick Withens Farm near Buxton, formerly of Westlands. Devoted husband of Shirley & the late Barbara. Treasured dad of Helen, Andrew and Isobel. Father in law of Kate & Dave and much loved grandad of Lucy, Tom, Olivia, Max, Sophie & Eleanor. Howard will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends. Funeral service to be held at Bradwell Crematorium on Monday 26th October, 2020 at 12:00pm. A lovely, kind and generous man. It has been both a joy and a privilege over the years to enjoy his gentle humour, his warm conversation and above all his quiet decency. Howard had that rarest of qualities, a gentle graciousness which made everyone who met him feel valued and valuable. A good man who enriched all our lives; one can give no higher praise and he will be missed.
