Cecil EdwardJOHNSONNatty On 7th May 2021 Peacefully at home, aged 92. A most loving husband of Daphne, loving dad to Clair, Icilda, Patricia & Pamela (twins), Gladson, Gloria, Mernal and Goldburn, a proud and cherished grandad and great-grandad, a dear father-in-law, brother, uncle and a dear friend to many. The Service will be held at St Cuthberts Church, at 11am on Thursday 20th May, followed by an interment at Rastrick Cemetery, 12.30pm. All flowers greatly appreciated and may be sent c/o Highfield Funeral Service, West Croft Trinity Street, Huddersfield HD1 4DT, no later than 9.30am on the day, or donations may be given in lieu of flowers to Dementia UK. Grandpa Natty you were the only Grand Dad i have known.
You were humble,easy going,very warm and loved everyone around you to be happy .
Whenever you visited Jamaica you would play dominos,have a few drinks and socialize.
As a child and you visited Jamaica
someone just had to tell me Samantha Natty up a shop,see me running coming. You would call me in Mr Thomas shop, hug me and tell me go and pick up whatever you want, then give me pocket money .
Tribute is from Aunty Mernel,Her Kids and all those whose lives you would have impacted in Jamaica .
Take your sleep,you have fought well.
