Raymond George (Ray)JONESof Stapenhill Sadly passed away in Queens Hospital Burton after a short illness on 9th January 2022 aged 78 years. Son of the late Sydney and Winifred May, brother of the late Michael. Beloved husband of Sheila, wonderful father to Deb and Robin, Nick and Becky, Tim and Lisa and Simon and Lydia. Amazing grandpa to Emilia, Morgan, Harry, Josh,George, Daisy, Caleb and Ethan. Ray will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. The funeral service will be held in the Anglesey Chapel at Bretby Crematorium on Thursday 10th February at 12.15pm. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Ray would be appreciated for St Giles Hospice and Cancer Research UK All further enquiries to The Co-operative Funeralcare, 5 The Precinct, Stretton, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire DE13 0DZ. Such sad news for so many.
Ray you will be sadly missed by many. Your presence will be hugely missed in Wales especially. So glad we had the pleasure of getting to know you.
