BarbaraKAYE(NÉE PLATER) Our Babs passed away peacefully on 30th March in London, Ontario, Canada aged 69 years in the presence of her loving family. A dearly loved mum of Charlotte, treasured mother in law of Kyle, beloved nana of Ewan & Liam, adored sister of Kenny, Donald & the late Anne, cherished sister in law to Val and Beat, precious auntie to Donald, Kevin & Brian. Loved by all her family & a good friend to many. Babs will be missed by all who knew her. A private cremation service has taken place in London, Ontario with repatriation to follow next year where she will rest alongside her sister, mam & dad at North Somercotes Cemetery.

Babs was a great mate in my teens we shared many happy times went on holiday to Spain and had a ball. Had great “budgie” nights with chicken and pineapple and cider at Jenny’s flat. It was lovely to catch up with her when she came back for her birthday and then two years later. Rest in peace mate I won’t forget you xxxxx
