Sister, I love you and I will miss you so much. I will miss the conversations we had every weekend no matter where we were. I will always have fond memories of our trips/adventures together no matter if it was Hull, Leicester, Boston, Arizona or the Strolling Bones part 1 (2013) & Part 2 (2018).
You have come a long way from Hull and Hessle Road, working at Clothing House, meeting and marrying a guy from Rosen’s, moving to Leicester, becoming a loving mother to Peter and James and finally your family big move across the pond for Trevor’s work to Boston, settling in Hanover in 1998.
One of your biggest achievements, beside Peter and James, was your learning to drive. Way to go sister! Freedom can be so exhilarating and having your independence can be so much fun.
I know you are in heaven sitting next to dad, mam and the rest of the Whittleton clan watching the Airlie Birds and talking about the good old days down Eton street. The old saying is true “You can take the lass out of Hull, but you can’t take Hull out of the lass”.
Love Charlie, Katz, Robby, TC and family.
