The family of the late Mrs. Catherine Ettie (Kitty) Kirkham of Newtown, Near Longnor would like to thank the following, the extended family, the carers and staff at Bank House, Leek, Hartington Luncheon Club and the doctors, district nurses and the team at Hartington Surgery. Particular thanks to David H Smith and staff, the caterers, Sheen Church organist and groundsman, Rev. Terry Warner, Ward 9, the MAU and the multidisciplinary team at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Mary and Dilys who arranged the church flowers, the bearers who carried Kitty to her resting place, all those who visited Kitty while she was in hospital and to relatives, friends and neighbours for the cards, messages of sympathy and donations to Sheen and Newtown Churches and the Hartington Doctors Surgery. Heartfelt appreciation goes to the faithful friends and family, past and present, who showed kindness, respect and understanding toward Kitty, enjoying and sharing in her life. Above all, we thank Kitty for such treasured memories.
