Great to have known Hugh as a friend and colleague on the Parish Council for many years. Grateful for his deliveries of sacks of potatoes, especially on the day we moved from Perranwell, along with a net of swedes and putting our granite trough into the removal lorry- and since then keeping in touch with Christmas cards and the occasional telephone calls- we will miss him- a helpful, kind gentleman and a great character. Perranwell Station won't be the same without him.
