Rosemary SheilaKNIGHTWe are sorry to announce the passing of Rosemary Sheila Knight born on the 27th April 1939 in Gloucester. Sheila was a sales assistant, a van driver when women didn't do that, and usually the one at the party that says they will have "just one more". Devoted wife of the late Colin Knight, loving mother to Carole Knight, and the late Steven Knight, doting grandmother to Verity Knight and sister to Alan Colley. She was the life and soul of the party, well-travelled and a keen if repetitive decorator having more than once put up the same wallpaper and paint after insisting she needed a 'Change'. Sheila was also known by many for her kindness, taking others into her home and heart without a second thought. She will be greatly missed by all her family, blood and those special individuals she chose to keep close. Her funeral will be held at St Mary de Lode Church Gloucester on the 31st March, her dear late husband's birthday, at 2pm. Those who hold fond memories of Sheila are welcome to pay their respects and share those thoughts with the family. Family flowers only, donations in lieu may be sent for the Great Western Air Ambulance c/o S C and B S Cocks Funeral Directors 59, Hucclecote Road, Gloucester GL3 3TL

I was the paper boy, delivering the Citizen to Sheila and Colin in the 1970s. When their son Steven died I was distraught and Sheila and Colin welcomed me into their home as I worked through my teenage grief. They were so kind. Thank you. God bless

Dear Aunty Sheila you will be sadly missed by so many. I remember family parties and holidays, you had such a charismatic personality and a beautiful aura. You are reunited with Uncle Colin and Steven xx

So sorry to hear the news about Auntie Sheila. She was a lovely lady & I have fond memories of our trip to Cardiff, when she took me under her wing. Rest in peace with Colin & Steven.
