SimonLEATHERSimon Leather died at home on the 8th of June, 2022. There will be a small family funeral on the 1st of July, close to his childhood home. His exceptional character lives on in the love he shared with his wife Clare and their children Olivia, Rufus and Fifi. We are very touched by all the thoughtful messages we have received, that speak of people's love and respect for Simon. We ask everyone who was glad to have known Simon to celebrate him in their own way, perhaps by sharing a prayer, raising a glass or pausing to recognise the wonders of the natural world. Simon was dedicated to the importance of our rural landscape and the people responsible for its preservation. My husband and I will always remember Simon so fondly. He was incredibly supportive and kind to us, when we moved onto the home estate. A quietly considerate gentleman, who we wish we had known better. Our thoughts are with Clare, Olivia, Rufus and Fifi. We are so sorry for your loss.

Simon you was a true gentleman thank you for all that you have done for me and so many others , you gave me a chance and stood by me and I will never forget that .

Simon was always kind and courteous and extremely helpful to us when we moved into Tresawle. We are very sad to hear of his passing and send our sincere condolences to Clare and his children.

I was so very sad to hear of Simon's passing today, but so grateful to have had the opportunity to cross paths with this kind, charming and warm hearted down to earth man, who always made time to talk to you. And went above and beyond to help people anyway he could. A true one of a kind person.
