Dr CharlieLLOYDPassed away 28th August 2020, aged 58 years after an unexpected cardiac arrest. A cherished family man, fine doctor runner and cyclist. He retired recently from Roborough Surgery. The family wish to thank profoundly the Tavistock Wheelers who gave assistance at the scene, the emergency services, Derriford Hospital Emergency Dept and ICU. Thank you for the many messages of support at this time. A much-loved son, husband, dad, brother, son in law and friend. Private family funeral, no flowers. Charitable donations may be made to enable young people to develop a love of the outdoors through the Island Trust and Tavistock Youth Cafe c/o Morris Brothers Funeral Directors, The Old Bedford Foundry, Lakeside, Tavistock PL19 0AZ. Donations may also be made via the website www.morrisbros.co.uk

I would just like to leave a tribute to Dr Lloyd, who was absolutely amazing when I was poorly and I suffered very bad postnatal depression but you came to my house with no hesitation. My love goes out to all the family.

I was also one of Dr LLoyds patients at Roborough Surgery and am incredibly saddened by the news. He was incredibly professional and his excellence is something which I will forever be grateful for, especially when I was very ill in late pregnancy. Sincere condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.

Dr Lloyd, such a gentleman, being a Doctor was his vocation, he was my Doctor, my Parents, In-laws and children's Doctor. Always late for an appt as he took the time to listen and care, always worth the wait. You have left such a void, heartfelt sympathy to all his loved ones
