Happy Birthday Ian my dear grandad. May you rest in peace. You are so loved. My heart is full of sadness that we were robbed of so much time with you over the pandemic and life will never be the same. I will miss your dry sense of humor the most and how you always had a dark joke, no matter the situation. Your stories were the best and i wish i would have spent more time with you and listened to more of your wisdom. I will always regret that. You were there when i came into the world and that's why im called Elle. You were the most consistent man and never failed to be there for any of us, especially when we needed it, you were all any of us ever had. Mum misses you astronomically but i know you are so proud of her. Happy Birthday I hope you're having a ball up there with my Nanny Lil. Love you always xxx

Ian Lowes, i cannot believe this great man has left us, he did lots of good for all of us on the forestry dept on liverpool city council, he personally saved my job and for that i will be eternally grateful. he was a fantastic union man and was true to his beliefs and helped everybody, forever in your debt. jeff seaman

We cannot express how sad we all feel. He was the most amazing, respected
honest and sincerest person. We were honoured to have him in our lives and be part of our family. You will never be forgotten.
